Aside from the movie, Slumdog Millionaire, running away with all the Oscar Awards, Robert Pattinson made an appearance at the famous show on Sunday, the 22. I'm not a major fan of him for portraying Edward (in general) the way he did, but I will admit he came out looking quite dashing, donning an elegant tuxedo for the event. It was quite special to see how he related to Twilight in his comments.
"Seyfried proclaimed that since the beginning of cinema, films have tried to figure several key things about love, with Pattinson adding: “What it is, how to get it, how to keep it and what to do when it goes incredibly wrong.”

He was quite the advocate for Twilight with his (overly done?) vampiric look.. I don't know if I was imagining it, but Rob gave me the impression that he was trying to view the audience from 'beneath his eyelashes'. It was weird at first, but reminded me of the proposal scene in Eclipse.. After that, he was pretty okay in my book.
Later during the show, Pattinson could be spotted among the famous actors and actresses, but his real debue was in the stand-up interview after the show. "This is my last night of light. I go
up to Canada soon [to shoot the Twilight sequel, New Moon]. And my character goes 50 times darker then it did in the first movie," the actor hinted. He was also seen at the after party, managing to stick around for a few shots with Zack and Vanessa.

Hopefully, we'll see him soon enough in the previews.
